Christiane Pontes de Pimentel de Andrade
Christiane Andrade is a dedicated educator and scholar with a Master of Arts in Language, Reading, and Culture (LRC) at the University of Arizona. Currently pursuing a PhD in Teaching, Learning, and Sociocultural Studies (TLS), her research interests focus on cross-cultural education, social justice, and educational practices. Her work aims to bridge cultural gaps and promote equity within educational systems, reflecting her commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments. In Brazil, she was the director of Projeto Presença, which aimed to empower young individuals by ensuring their perspectives are heard and valued in educational settings. She is a Portuguese Graduate Assistant at the Spanish and Portuguese Department where she shares her passion for language and culture with her students.
