Brigette Walters
Adjunct Lecturer

Brigette Walters is a lecturer in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Arizona. She received a Ph.D. from the same department in 2022, with a specialization in Latin American literatures/cultures and a sub-focus in Luso-Brazilian literatures/cultures. Since 2015, she has taught for the department's Portuguese program, including the courses PORT 101: First Semester Portuguese, PORT 102: Second Semester Portuguese, and PORT 350: Introduction to Genres and Literary Analysis. Brigette is an enthusiastic and creative instructor who brings her subject to life, igniting a love for learning in her students by sharing what she’s passionate about.
